About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team at EDSB Ltd. As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our clients' water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring to ensure the quality of our clients' water systems.
  • Descaling of shower heads and hoses to prevent the buildup of mineral deposits.
  • Servicing and maintenance of thermostatic mixing valves to ensure safe and efficient water temperature control.
  • Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers to detect any potential issues.
  • Tank cleans and inspections to maintain the integrity of our clients' water systems.
  • Mains injection pipework chlorination works to ensure the disinfection of our clients' water systems.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the Standards that relate to our industry, including Legionella awareness, Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8, and guidance document HSG274 Part 2.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Good level of computer skills, with experience in using software related to water hygiene and treatment.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic, with a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices.
Working Conditions

Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break. Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and an Enhanced DBS check.
