We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of patient care, including phlebotomy, specimen taking, and basic clinical observations.
- Support consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.
- Carry out pre-assessment, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Assist in the management of patient records and paperwork.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of our clinics.
- NVQ 2 or 3 in a relevant healthcare discipline.
- Experience of working in an acute hospital setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literacy and ability to use electronic patient records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
