Job Title: Residential Support Worker, Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at our specialist Education facility for Young Adults with special education needs. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people with their evening routines, including activities and hobbies both on and off-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with their evening routines, including activities and hobbies
  • Communicate with parents and support workers to ensure medical needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and be a listening ear for our young people
  • Encourage independence and daily living skills

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary (fully funded training provided)
  • A supportive individual with patience and understanding
  • Ability to help with budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and seeking desired activities
  • Must be over 21 years old
  • A caring nature and understanding of good support
  • A car driver is essential due to the location of the service
  • Successful applicants will need to complete pre-employment checks and a DBS check

  • Night shift allowance of £25 per shift (approx. £4000 per year)
  • Annual salary of £30,700 - £33,000 including night shift allowance
