Main Responsibilities
Provide a clinical pharmacy service to the gastroenterology ward on a rotational basis, supporting the provision and development of a holistic, specialist pharmaceutical care service to patients receiving high-risk, high-cost medication.
Support services provided to outpatients and endoscopy, and provide a clinical pharmacy service to the daycase unit, ensuring adherence to Trust agreed standards.
Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and out-patient clinics to provide pharmaceutical advice to prescribers and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
Essential
- Qualified to Masters Degree level (MPharm or equivalent).
- Member of General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Post Graduate Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
Experience

- Clinical experience within gastroenterology/hepatology is highly desirable.
