Manual Tester

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our team at Insight Select. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of banking systems through meticulous manual testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough manual testing of financial applications and systems, including functional, regression, and system testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain detailed and comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute test plans, document test results, and identify, log, and track defects to ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure effective testing coverage.
- Provide regular status reports and test summaries to stakeholders, highlighting key issues and progress.
- Proven experience in manual testing, particularly within the financial services sector or investment banking.
- Hands-on experience with Open Platform Framework (OPF) or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with common testing tools and platforms for defect tracking and test management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Contract Details:
- 12 Month Initial Contract
- Day Rate: Up to £600/day (Inside IR35)
- Location: London (2-3 days a week)
