Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the digital print pressroom, ensuring production schedules are met.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure printed materials meet our standards.
  • Ensure digital printing equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Lead and manage teams of press operators, providing training and support as needed.
  • Manage inventory of printing materials, such as paper, ink, and consumables.
  • Continuously assess and improve pressroom processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure the pressroom operates in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure efficiency across production and customer expectations are met.
  • Generate reports on pressroom performance and productivity for management review.
  • Document standard operating procedures and update them as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of digital printing technologies, equipment, and processes.
  • Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and to analyse complex data and translate into production reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to quality control.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members, and other departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and new technologies.
