We are committed to providing excellent care and services to our clients and children, which has contributed to our successful growth. To maintain this momentum, we are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.

The Role

As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and financial management of our school catering facilities. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your creativity and flair.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing kitchen team
  • Managing catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing controllable costs and improving efficiency
  • Overseeing menu development and implementation
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • OND or HND qualification (desirable)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial acumen and experience in gross profit management
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment

This role offers:

  • 35 hours per week, with no late nights
  • 39 weeks per year, based around term time
