We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to lead our food and beverage department at Ebbsfleet Primary School-Kent. As the head of the school catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Food Operations Management: Manage the replenishment of food and the dismantling of work areas at the end of service.
- Team Development: Develop, mentor, conduct training, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve excellence.
- Cost Control: Control the complete catering operation, including labour, food, and stock expenses.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure uniformity in the food and service standards provided to fellow staff members, visitors, and students.
- Leadership Experience: Have previous staff supervision experience or line management experience.
- Culinary Expertise: Have experience working with fresh produce and ingredients.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy kitchen environment.
- Certifications: Hold basic food handling skills certification, including NVQ Level 2 and Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
- Competitive Compensation: £13.00 per hour
- Flexible Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-2pm
- Term Time Only Contract: 39 week working contract paid over 52 weeks
- Equated Pay: A method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks, and holiday pay spread over 12 months
