Comex 2000 UK Ltd: Training Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Training Manager to lead our Learning and Development team in Enfield. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training strategies to address knowledge and skill gaps within project teams.
  • Collaborate with HR Director and Head of L&D to design training programs that meet business and workstream objectives.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including training plans, attendance records, and evaluation results.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers, evaluating their services and negotiating competitive pricing.
  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify requirements of operational teams.
  • Design and develop engaging training programs that incorporate various learning methodologies.
  • Evaluate the impact of existing and new leadership development interventions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development of coaching as a key leadership style by incorporating coaching principles and skills into leadership and management development programs.
  • Assist in the development of apprenticeship programs, work experience initiatives, and graduate support.
  • Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders to understand their expectations and communicate the value of training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in learning and development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
  • Critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of the assessment process and expectations of an external awarding body.
  • NVQ Level 3 Training Assessor and/or Level 3 management award.
