Job Description

Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: Borough of Greenwich

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEN and SEMH needs to engage in the classroom
  • Encourage the development of students' social skills
  • Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate individual needs
  • Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest in working with SEN and Mental Health
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
  • Experience in a previous role or personal experience in SEN is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature
