Job Summary:As an Occupational Therapist II, you will be responsible for coordinating occupational therapy and allied health clinical services within a program or service area. You will provide supervision to students and team members as assigned and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide leadership and guidance. You will make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up. You will also make decisions and advise team members on complex clinical cases and provide clinical leadership within the program or service area to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate occupational therapy and allied health clinical services within a program or service area
- Provide supervision to students and team members as assigned
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide leadership and guidance
- Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up
- Make decisions and advise team members on complex clinical cases
- Provide clinical leadership within the program or service area to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
