Job Title: Specialist/Lead Pharmacist Aseptic Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Specialist/Lead Pharmacist Aseptic Services. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective preparation of SACT medicines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective preparation of SACT medicines
  • Support and maintain the work of the Aseptic Services Section of the Pharmacy
  • Lead and manage the Aseptic Unit service, providing clinical, technical, and training support to staff
  • Ensure the health and safety of staff and patients
Requirements:
  • Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy department, including experience in cancer services or aseptic services provision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
