Position Overview
The Pharmacy department is seeking a proactive and innovative professional to enhance our Dispensary and Patient Services team. This pivotal role focuses on the daily operations of the dispensary and patient services, providing essential supervisory guidance to our dedicated team members while collaborating with our established management framework. NOTE: This position is subject to Agenda for Change banding
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure precise and timely dispensing of medications.
- Conduct thorough checks of inventory and dispensed medications.
- Facilitate the smooth operation of Dispensary and Patient Services to effectively manage workload, including weekly and daily scheduling.
- Provide leadership to Assistant Technical Officers and, when applicable, Trainees.

Qualifications
Required
- NVQ Level 2/ BTEC in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent nationally recognized qualification.
- Proven ability to demonstrate dispensing accuracy.
Preferred
- Accuracy Checking Qualification.
Experience

- Experience in an NHS community or hospital dispensary setting.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
