Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong experience in residential conveyancing to join their team. The successful candidate will support solicitors in managing residential property transactions from start to finish, utilizing their strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
  • Drafting legal documents, including missives, dispositions, and securities.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Conducting property searches and handling Land Register applications.
  • Preparing documentation for settlement and ensuring all legal requirements are met.
  • Managing case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Providing administrative support to the property team as needed.
  • Client liaison, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with legal software and case management systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
