Job Summary:

FPR Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our National Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality field-based technical expertise to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers in the field, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify and resolve technical problems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of technical support activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve technical support services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in a field service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent technical electrical and electronics skills, with a focus on problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
