Job Title: Assessment and Guidance Team Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Assessment and Guidance Team as a Complaints Handling Specialist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and guidance to the public and providers of public services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming enquiry calls and provide relevant guidance and advice on how to make a complaint
  • Set up new complaints on our complaint handling system
  • Provide strong administrative support to the team
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our organisation and complaints process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience of working in a frontline, customer-facing role
  • Good knowledge and experience of a customer services environment, ideally within a public service organisation under the Ombudsman's jurisdiction
  • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and experience of a range of IT applications
