Maintenance Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of all maintenance requirements across the hotel, including infrastructure, repairs, and renovations.
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance and systematic testing of rooms and electrical equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating.
  • Scheduling contractors for major repairs as required and coordinating work performed by outside vendors.
  • Conducting staff training on equipment and procedures.
  • Ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our hotels to guarantee an exceptional guest experience.
  • Responding to maintenance emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Maintenance Person and knowledge of the trade, regulations, and standards.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to take ownership of the safety and functionality of our hotels.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site emergencies do not become major site emergencies.
