About the Role

This is a developmental post that offers a unique opportunity to work as part of an innovative and dynamic team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, but will need to be flexible and work across different sites as and when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret a range of cardiology investigations, including exercise testing, haemodynamic monitoring, ambulatory holter and blood pressure monitoring, and electrocardiography.
  • Develop expertise in the performance of the full range of investigations carried out in the Cardiology Investigation Unit.
  • Interpret technical information and data from investigations, recognising abnormal findings and reporting them through appropriate channels.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
  • Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or degree level equivalent education plus extensive experience.
  • BSE Accreditation.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • RCCP Registration.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • BLS plus defibrillator certification.
