Job Opportunity: Senior Solicitor - Education Law Specialist

Coram is a leading children's charity dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our Education Law Team.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified solicitor with a strong background in education law to provide expert advice and representation to children and families. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality advice and client care, and committed to children's human rights and supporting Coram's aims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and representation to children and families in education law cases
  • Work closely with the Education Law Team to develop and implement effective strategies to support children and families
  • Contribute to the development of policy and practice in education law
  • Collaborate with other teams within Coram to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified solicitor with experience of education law casework and/or related public law practice
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to children's human rights and Coram's aims
