We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our client school in St. Helens. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons.

About the Role

This is a long-term position, required on a full-time basis until Christmas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of students at different stages of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to achieve excellence in education
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a DBS check
