We are seeking a seasoned Financial Director to lead our EU marketplaces team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch). This role will focus on driving strategic initiatives and long-term success within our EU operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, as well as experience in tax, finance, or a related field. They should also have a proven ability to develop financial and operational plans to achieve business goals and analyze key financial performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Directors and Senior Managers to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement financial and operational plans to drive long-term success
  • Conduct regular business reviews and communicate progress to senior management
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement through financial analysis and data-driven insights
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Experience in tax, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on financial planning and analysis
  • Experience with financial performance indicators and data analysis
  • Experience in process improvements and automation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or CPA
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL and data mining tools
  • Experience in identifying and solving complex business challenges
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
