Senior HVAC Technician - Facilities Management - Commercial Sector

We are pleased to present an excellent opportunity to join a reputable facilities management organization. We are currently seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to support our operations in the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive qualifications in HVAC systems and a solid background in maintenance within commercial environments.

Compensation Package
  • Competitive salary up to £50,000 annually
  • Opportunity for overtime
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conducting site assessments prior to the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Strategically planning the layout of piping, ductwork, and control systems
  • Executing the installation of HVAC components
  • Performing thorough quality inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety of systems
  • Executing maintenance tasks on HVAC systems
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults
  • Offering technical assistance to on-site engineers
Qualifications:
  • NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
  • Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
  • F-Gas certification (2079)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance
  • Familiarity with VRVs, split systems, chillers, and air handling units
  • Experience with wet systems, radiators, boilers, and pipework diagnostics is advantageous but not essential.
