We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to become a vital part of our enthusiastic team on a temporary to permanent basis.
The successful candidate will possess experience in machinery operation or have a background in a manufacturing or production setting.
Important Note:
Due to the site’s location, reliable transportation is essential for early morning starts and late finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain large format digital printing equipment.
- Oversee color calibration to ensure superior print quality.
- Assist the finishing team with various print tasks.
- Implement process enhancements to boost operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and conduct routine maintenance on machinery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high print standards.
- Technically adept with strong mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management capabilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a manufacturing or production role.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a cooperative environment.
Job Type:
Full-time, transitioning to permanent after a successful training period.
Compensation:
£24.50 per hour, with potential increases as training progresses. Overtime opportunities available at enhanced rates.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
