Mechanical Estimator

Murray Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our client's dynamic team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates for mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Calculate labour, material, and equipment costs to prepare accurate project estimates.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals for potential projects.
- Clearly communicate cost breakdowns, timelines, and project specifications to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss project estimates and proposals.
- Experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a similar industry.
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.
