We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Accuracy Checking Specialist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the entire dispensing process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Check and prepare medication orders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure the safe handling and distribution of pharmaceuticals, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service.
- Deliver courteous and effective customer service at all times, responding to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Complete and maintain accurate administrative records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment, maintaining optimal levels and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Receive, store, and issue medications and other supplies, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory management.
- Provide healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources when necessary, demonstrating a commitment to customer care.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is mandatory.
- Hold an NVQ3 qualification and have completed the additional accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a customer-focused environment is highly desirable.
