Position: Assistant Asset & Stock Controller
Location: Livingston
Compensation: £12.50 per hour
Contract Duration: Four Months
About the Role
We are collaborating with a well-established client, recognized as a leading IT firm in the UK. This organization is currently engaged with one of the most prominent brands in the entertainment sector and is seeking an Assistant Asset and Stock Controller to provide support on a four-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt and dispatch of assets and stock on a daily basis, assisting the Asset/Stock Controller.
- Facilitate the physical transfer of devices between storage areas and the customer.
- Support schedulers and engineers in the selection and packaging of stock for incident and requested items.
- Prepare and sanitize devices before handing them over to engineers for quality evaluation.
- Assist the broader team in delivering devices to clients.
- Provide technical bar support, including the delivery and collection of user equipment.
- Ensure stock usage forecasts are available and request replenishments as necessary.
- Maintain an organized stockroom using ServiceNow, conducting regular audits to ensure stock rotation and accuracy.
- Ensure that tech vending machines are operational and adequately stocked, if required.
- Image laptop and desktop devices as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
- Proactive approach with an understanding of time-sensitive tasks.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM is a plus.
