Part Time Nanny Job in Central York

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time nanny to join our family in Central York, North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support for our two energetic boys, aged 9 and 6, and create a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect the children from school at 3 pm and ensure their safe transportation home
  • Provide engaging and educational activities to promote their cognitive and physical development
  • Assist with homework and reading to support their academic progress
  • Prepare healthy meals from scratch, taking into account any dietary requirements or allergies
  • Supervise and participate in swimming and other physical activities to promote their physical health and well-being
  • Drive the children to our second home in the Yorkshire Wolds every Friday and work from there during school holidays
  • Plan and execute fun and enriching days out during school holidays to create lasting memories
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the children at all times
Requirements:
  • Full Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Recognised childcare qualification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A musical background and some SEN experience is a plus but not essential
  • Confident swimmer
  • Own car and valid drivers licence
