About the Role

The Senior Finance Manager will play a key role in our specialist finance team, responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in finance and the business. As a key point of contact with the external audit team, you will ensure the successful delivery of the external audit and develop a strong relationship with the audit team. Group Reporting will work closely with the Core Accounting team to support and aid development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of the interim and annual report and preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the external audit and develop a strong relationship with the audit team
  • Provide technical accounting advice to the Group's businesses, including for new products, contracts, offers, or corporate transactions
  • Prepare technical accounting papers to explain accounting judgments to key stakeholders
  • Advise on changes in accounting standards and the business impact
  • Drive improvement in the Group's controls and financial reporting processes
