About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical & Electronic Design Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering Group (EEG) within Babcock Energy & Marine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic systems for our marine platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for marine platforms, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and electronic systems with other platform systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and engineering drawings.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level, or HNC/HND equivalent, in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in electrical and electronic design, development, and integration, preferably in a marine or defense industry context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and make informed decisions.
