About the Role
Sainsbury's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Transformation team as an Automation Strategy Manager. This exciting opportunity will enable you to be at the forefront of driving change and growth in our business, shaping our 3-to-15-year Logistics Network and Automation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective automation strategies to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities across various business functions and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of automation technologies and streamline processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented automation solutions, making necessary adjustments and improvements to ensure continuous optimization.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in advanced stakeholder management and communication.
- Ability to nurture and manage external third-party relationships.
- Strength in end-to-end strategic thinking, being outcome-centric, and hypothesis-led.
- Interest, passion, and curiosity in Automation.
- Well-organized with experience of working within transformational change or programme management.
- Successful experience of working on shaping and implementing major Transformation projects/programmes.
