Grafton Banks Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly management account reports, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
- Carry out day-to-day financial procedures, including payroll, payments, pension administration, and HMRC compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensure monthly PAYE/NIC schedules are completed, along with annual returns, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month-end, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Input all expenditure from staff credit cards, ensuring correct treatment of VAT and maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of circa £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
