Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile monthly management account reports, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Carry out day-to-day financial procedures, including payroll, payments, pension administration, and HMRC compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Ensure monthly PAYE/NIC schedules are completed, along with annual returns, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month-end, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Input all expenditure from staff credit cards, ensuring correct treatment of VAT and maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of circa £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
