This unique opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience across diverse mental health and learning disability settings, building a strong foundation for your career in this rewarding field.

Your Role

As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based assessment and intervention to individuals with complex needs. You'll work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. Your initial placement will be within our Rotherham Community Learning Disability Service, supporting adults with learning disabilities in their homes and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of occupational and vocational needs to empower individuals to develop independent living skills and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Apply a broad understanding of current OT theory and best practices to deliver person-centered care.
  • Collaborate effectively with service users, carers, staff from various professional backgrounds, and external partner agencies.
