Job Summary:

Better Days Recruitment is seeking an experienced Information Security and Risk Management Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our information security risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential information security risks to the organization
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective risk management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information security and risk management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, risk management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of building and leading risk management frameworks in a complex, global organization
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in information security risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of information security standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex technical environments and translate risks into actionable recommendations

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience with risk management software or GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) tools
