About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our Plant and Tool Division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing Plant & Tool (P&T) hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

About You

We are looking for a sales professional with significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry. You should have a proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximizing opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales presentations to major account customers at a senior management level
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering
  • Work with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities for P&T equipment
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue growth

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving License (Essential)
