Construction Site Supervisor - Our client, a prominent player in the Surface & Highways sector, is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor. This role involves overseeing a variety of surfacing projects, including Highways, Retail, Rail, Aviation, Commercial, and Defence.

The Site Supervisor will play a crucial role in enforcing and promoting the company's health and safety protocols while managing surfacing operations. You will assist the Contracts Manager with the daily oversight and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
  • Develop and maintain a forward program for the Contracts Manager, detailing material, labor, and equipment needs
  • Track project progress and communicate any necessary adjustments
  • Conduct a required number of Site Inspections and Safety Tours
  • Complete L, P & M Returns
  • Identify and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with supporting evidence
  • Optimize resource allocation for operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and Quantity Surveying teams to maximize contract value
