HGV Technician Vacancy

**Location:** Retford

**Job Type:** Permanent

**Hours:** 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

**Salary:** Up to £52,000 per annum

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HGV Technician to join our client's workshop in the Retford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, MOT preparation, and scheduled servicing to DVSA standards on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Routine maintenance and preventative work
* MOT preparation and scheduled servicing
* 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
* Correction of running defects
* Chassis and fabrication work
* Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

**Requirements:**

* Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent
* Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification desirable
* HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
