Senior Database Administrator / DBA Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator / DBA to join our team at Client Server. As a Senior Database Administrator / DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining on-premise Oracle and SQL databases, including upgrades, high availability backup administration, monitoring, and optimizations of servers as well as SQL code and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders to improve the use of schemas, performant stored procedures, views, functions, and data lakes.
  • Investigate data store and schema issues, providing solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Work with a small team to maintain and optimize Oracle and SQL databases.
  • Develop and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Database Administration, with experience in Oracle or SQL.
  • Strong understanding of database performance optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL Server, Data Lakes, and other data-related cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
