Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Burton-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering control and safety management systems for the client's products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design and development, with a proven track record in designing electrical control systems, control panels, and wiring schematics. Knowledge of electrical design principles and experience with EPlan design software or similar are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control systems and control panels for various projects, working to customer specifications and preparing designs for manufacture.
  • Develop new products to meet customer requirements, from initial design to completion.
  • Specify and select components, perform design calculations, and develop enhancements to existing product ranges.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical design and development, with a focus on control systems and control panels.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical design principles and experience with EPlan design software or similar.
