Job Title: Structural & Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural & Civil Engineer to join our team at Alfred Recruitment Llp. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering projects in the value of around £1m - £20m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular updates to the Directors on project progress, including management of fees, timescales, and resourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's QA policies.
  • Manage and coordinate the design and delivery of building structures in all common materials across major sectors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct inspections and reports on building structures to identify defects and recommend remedial options.
  • Prepare quotations for prospective projects.
Requirements:
  • Chartered structural engineer or ambition to be chartered soon.
  • Experience in the design of building structures in all common materials across major sectors.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to use Tedds and Tekla Structures or similar software.
  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil/structural engineering.
