We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths and English Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Tutor, you will provide one-to-one support to students who are struggling with their learning or do not have a school placement.

The tuition sessions will range from a minimum of 2 hours per week to a maximum of 10 hours. We are looking for someone to start immediately, providing flexible and tailored support to our students.

The students we work with are typically in Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 and require additional support with basic Maths and English skills.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have UK classroom or mainstream teaching experience, or hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box to support our students' learning.
  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references to cover the past two years.
