Electrical Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at CV Library. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading site-based staff throughout their day-to-day work to achieve completion of projects as set out by the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead site-based staff to achieve completion of projects
  • Support Site Managers to drive service delivery and maintain key performance targets
  • Plan work for and supervise the Projects team and any sub-contractors to ensure work is completed to a defined standard, within agreed time and budget
  • Liaise with Project Engineers to prioritise work fronts
  • Manage and coach individual's performance with the ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
  • Ensure working compliance to Electrical Safety Rules on site
  • Train to Approved Person (AP) level in relation to Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and Isolation Safety Rules (ISR) where appropriate to the role

Requirements:

  • Relevant Electrical Qualifications
  • CSCS Card Holder
  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Experience in safety management controls for construction works in general site conditions
  • Background in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • A sound understanding on planned preventative maintenance
  • Good IT skills including a working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in Water/Waste Water is advantageous
  • Valid UK Driving licence
