About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our Extra Care service in Fleet. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans, promoting resident autonomy and choice.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication management, and household chores.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture, promoting open communication and collaboration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting, preferably in an Extra Care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.
  • A DBS/PVG check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
