About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our high-performing squads in delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance our SEO and Growth initiatives. As a key member of our team, you'll guide and mentor engineers to drive organic traffic and improve the overall customer experience for both pet owners and sitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead two engineering squads responsible for delivering on SEO, growth, and content initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical architecture and delivery of projects, ensuring best practices in software engineering, particularly regarding search engine optimisation (SEO) and site performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, SEO, and Marketing teams to prioritise and execute initiatives that improve organic traffic, customer acquisition, and overall web performance.
  • Drive technical strategy for your squads, ensuring alignment with TrustedHousesitters' growth objectives and SEO ambitions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, managing and scaling technical teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex web-based projects in a digital-first, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong experience working in growth-focused or SEO-centric projects, particularly in fast-paced, high-growth businesses.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop engineering teams.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience in agile methodologies and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
