About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Traffic Engineering & Consulting Team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing engineering measures to achieve safe and efficient movement and interaction of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles on our roads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop traffic engineering solutions for various projects, including road and street design, cycle lane design, and traffic signal design.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and appraise practical solutions that require consideration of traffic flows, road geometry, and intelligent transport systems.
  • Use industry-leading computer software and BIM modelling programmes to work on a variety of different projects.
  • Contribute to the development of streets that are more pleasant and safe to use by local communities.
Requirements
  • BEng in Civil Engineering, General Engineering, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above.
  • MEng in Civil Engineering, General Engineering, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above would be an advantage.
  • And/or MSc in Transport Planning.
  • Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
  • Good report writing skills are beneficial.
  • Ability to structure and prioritize work effectively through close cooperation with the team as a whole.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently without losing initiative and focus.
