About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Process Engineer to join our client, a specialist in automotive manufacturing, based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a young engineer to make an impact and progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support production processes to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Carry out TPM checks and maintenance tasks on key equipment
  • Design and manufacture Poke Yoke systems, camera checking systems, and weld fixtures
  • Identify and report Health & Safety hazards
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Perform tasks within the scope of the function, as directed by the Engineering Manager
Requirements
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • PLC knowledge (Omron and Mitsubishi)
  • Knowledge of Vision systems
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics
  • NVQ in Electrical Engineering
  • NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of Robot Co2 and spot welding (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of manual machine techniques
