About the Company:
Our client is a reputable family-run enterprise within the farming sector, specializing in a diverse range of crops including Wheat, Barley, Oilseed Rape, and Potatoes. They manage an extensive area of land, with a significant portion dedicated to potato cultivation.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will operate advanced agricultural machinery, specifically Fendt tractors, and engage in the following tasks:

  • De-stoning of fields
  • Participating in all phases of the harvest process

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operating agricultural machinery
  • Basic mechanical skills for the upkeep of tractors and equipment
  • A valid driving license
  • Desirable certifications such as Telehandler, Forklift, PA1, and PA2, though not mandatory

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 39 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work additional hours during peak seasons is expected.

Compensation:
The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000, which includes compensation for up to 500 hours of overtime. Beyond this threshold, an hourly overtime rate will be applied, commensurate with the candidate's experience.
