Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain company inspection reports
- Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards
- Take responsibility for decisions around releasing product to customers
- Manage, control, and administer the calibration process
- Report quality anomalies
- Collate test data and issue quality reports
- Identify areas for quality control improvement
- Lead internal issues investigations
- Participate in the on-site customer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) process
- Undertake incoming inspections of parts from external Suppliers and internal manufacturing units
- Independent inspection and testing of manufactured products and assemblies
- Ensure that the "End Item Data Packs" are complete and correct
- Issue MRB's, Internal Inspection Reports, and SNCR's as required
- Strong working knowledge of inspection processes and test equipment
- High degree of competence in interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience in an ISO9001 Quality Systems environment
- Knowledge of quality tools for fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Competence in use of basic measuring equipment
- Desirable: experience in weld fabrication processes, use of Q-Pulse, and knowledge of ERP systems
