Overview:
Be-IT Resourcing Ltd is seeking a committed and skilled Senior Automation Quality Analyst responsible for ensuring the excellence and dependability of software currently in development utilizing Angular.

This position entails the upkeep and execution of automated testing protocols, aiding manual testing initiatives, contributing to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks, and ensuring that the company's offerings align with client expectations.


Automation Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and implement automated testing strategies (currently utilizing Cypress) and their associated components, including test data and other essential elements.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Support Team to formulate and execute manual testing scripts, ensuring proper application of testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Establish and document acceptance criteria and testing strategies for new development tasks based on an analysis of functional requirements and user stories.
  • Conduct all levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression testing.

User Experience Focus:
Maintain user experience as a priority during testing phases and recommend usability enhancements when necessary.

Defect Management:

Identify and monitor software defects and discrepancies, maintaining a Priority 1 defect release log to guarantee high software availability.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a testing environment, with at least 3 years specifically in automated testing.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Angular, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Expertise in Cypress or another automation testing framework such as Selenium, with a readiness to learn Cypress.
  • Familiarity with contemporary quality assurance and test management practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in agile and waterfall methodologies.

Tools and Techniques:

Acquaintance with testing and automation tools, best practices, and design patterns is essential.
