Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our Theatre Team at Spire Norwich Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, running a theatre list without supervision, and supervising/mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring minimal waste and optimal equipment usage.
- Run a theatre list without supervision, demonstrating expertise in anaesthetic procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
- Perform anaesthetic duties, working closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Qualified ODP/Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module.
- NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin.
- At least 1 year Anaesthetics experience.
- Recovery experience is desirable.
- Employed in a surgical/Theatre setting.
- Highly motivated and able to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
