Residential Property Legal Secretary

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Legal Secretary to join our busy property department at JS Legal Recruitment Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial support to the property fee earner, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Screen incoming calls and respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Process new business opportunities, utilizing digital dictation and audio typing skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage diaries, book rooms, and arrange meetings, ensuring seamless coordination with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize case management systems to maintain client files, track progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to provide quotations, send client care letters, and respond to client queries.
- Deal with post-completion matters, including maintaining client files, opening and closing files, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assist fee earners in maintaining client accounts, providing guidance to junior and temporary secretaries as needed.
Requirements:
- Recent Residential or Commercial Property legal secretarial experience is essential.
- Fast and accurate audio typing skills, including digital dictation, are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel is necessary.
- Able to prioritize and multitask, with excellent telephone manner and client communication skills.
- Possess the ability to deal with client queries when fee earners are out of the office.

- Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm working hours.
